BEFORE YOUR FIRST CARD
Good
to know.
Is this a physical game?+
This is the Afterglow phone game. Two adults share one phone and take turns revealing digital cards.
Do we have to drink?+
No. Switch drinking off in card settings to remove drinking prompts and drink forfeits. You can pass any card using the × button.
Who is it for?+
Two adults, aged 18 or over. Each player independently chooses His or Her cards, including His/His and Her/Her pairings. Available prompts follow both selections.
Do we need an App Store download?+
No. Afterglow runs in your browser. You can also add it to your iPhone home screen from Safari using Share → Add to Home Screen. You’ll need an internet connection to open the game.
Where are our photos and videos saved?+
Only in this browser’s storage on your device. They are not uploaded to an Afterglow account. Export anything you want to keep: clearing website data can remove the collection and your saved game.
Can we try it before buying?+
Yes. Try a curated six-card sampler: two Spark, two Desire and two Heat cards. Start with Spark and choose whether to explore the stronger moods. Your filters still apply, so some sample cards may be excluded. The full 200+ card library is £14.99, paid once.
Can we play on another phone?+
Yes. Sign in with the email and password for your account. Two devices can stay signed in; signing in on a third signs out the oldest. Your saved night and photos stay on their original device.
What does 200+ prompts include?+
The full library contains 207 distinct cards: 49 Spark, 101 Desire and 57 Heat. His/Her wording variations are not counted as extra cards. Your pairing and card settings determine which cards are available in your game.
